Team Fiji Men’s Rugby 7s coach Osea Kolinisau emphasized the importance of defending their legacy at the Olympics, highlighting the legacy created in Rio and Tokyo when the team won gold.
Fiji is the only country to have won a gold medal in the men’s rugby 7s Olympics and is working hard to maintain that legacy.
The team will face Uruguay at 3 a.m. on Thursday, followed by the USA at 6.30 a.m. on the same day. Their final pool match will be against France at 1.30 a.m. on Friday.
The Men’s quarterfinals will kick off at 7 a.m. on Friday, marking a crucial stage in their journey.
The official opening of the Paris Olympics 2024 will take place on Saturday, followed by the semi-finals on Sunday, and the final on Sunday.
