Lautoka won 2-1 over defending champions Labasa in their second match in the Battle of the Giants competition.
The first score came from Saula Waqa, who scored inside the box.
Labasa eventually equalized the score in the 28th minute. Both teams displayed quality football for the next 20 minutes before halftime.
Labasa started strongly in the second half but could not score.
Lautoka continued to press Labasa, and Waqa scored his second goal for the match in the 73rd minute.
Despite Labasa’s efforts, they could not find the back of the net.
