Dean's competition provides a clear pathway for players to advance to higher levels

Savenaca Muamua, the vice president of the Fiji Secondary School Rugby Union, is confident that the Deans competition provides a clear pathway for players to advance to higher levels of the sport.

As the competition concludes, scouts will attend the quarterfinals to discover the next generation of rugby talent.

Muamua underscores the importance of the pathway that Fiji Rugby Union (FRU) has established for rugby players, pointing out the success of players transitioning from Secondary School Rugby to the Flying Fijians.

He also believes that if one or two players are selected for the Fiji Rugby Union High-Performance or Drua Academy, it would be a fulfilling outcome for families who have sacrificed for their children’s sporting aspirations.
