The FML Nadi Branch has been crowned the Champions of the Futsal IDC 2024, having defeated Ba 7-0 in the final.
MVP Mohammed Salmin’s sensational performance earned him the Golden Ball and Golden Boot Award for being the tournament’s top scorer.
Nadi’s dominance began with a perfectly executed penalty in the 2nd minute, which rattled Ba’s defence. Nadi’s fast-paced attack and clinical finishing made it clear that this was Nadi’s day.
Nadi Goalkeeper Naved won the Golden Glove Award for his superb goalkeeping throughout the tournament and team Manager Haji Abdul Nahid won the Best Manager award.
Nadi was too strong for Ba, who could not replicate the performances that brought them to the grand stage.
They were outmatched in every department, as Nadi dominated possession, pressed aggressively, and capitalized on every opportunity.
This victory highlights Nadi’s supreme talent and teamwork, cementing their place as the top futsal team in the tournament.
