The Fiji football team is preparing for the FIFA International ”A’ Friendlies Tri-Nations Series 2024. This will be played between Fiji, Hong Kong-China, and the Solomon Islands next month.
The team has started their second week of preparation under head coach Rob Sherman, with 26 players in camp.
They focus on strengthening and conditioning in the morning and tactical and technical aspects in the afternoon.
The final squad will be named this week before the team moves to Suva.
Four players will be excluded from the squad, with Captain Roy Krishna missing the Solomon Islands match. Krishna is expected to join the team against Hong Kong-China.
Fiji will face the Solomon Islands on Monday, September 2, at 7 pm at HFC Stadium in Suva.
The Solomon Islands will play Hong Kong-China on Thursday, September 5, at 7 p.m. at the same venue.
Fiji’s final match will be against Hong Kong-China on Sunday, September 8, at 3 pm at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
