Eight teams have been confirmed for the Battle of the Giants (BOG) Tournament 2024. However, Nasinu FC and Tailevu Naitasiri FC will not be participating.
Despite Nasinu’s recent 1-0 win over Ba FC in round 12, the team has moved up to eighth position but will not participate in the BOG.
Suva, the host, qualifies for the tournament despite being in ninth place.
The Digicel Fiji Premier League points table is highly competitive, with Rewa FC and Labasa FC leading with a superior goal difference.
Labasa secured a 1-0 victory over Suva FC, while Rewa defeated Tailevu Naitasiri 1-0. Lautoka FC moved back to third position after a 3-2 win over Nadroga FC, accumulating 19 points.
Ba remains in fourth place with 18 points despite a 0-1 loss to Nasinu FC. Navua is in sixth position with 17 points, Nadroga is in seventh with 14 points, Nasinu is in eighth with 12 points, Suva is in ninth with nine points, and Tailevu Naitasiri is at the bottom with eight points.
