Fiji’s women’s futsal team will face the Solomon Islands in the OFC Futsal Women’s Nations Cup starting on Saturday.
Head coach Jerry Sam has assembled the best players from around the country, hoping they will deliver.
The selection process was challenging due to the abundance of talented players in Fiji.
The team has been in camp for three weeks.
The first week is intense to ensure they are fit and ready for the competition.
The team will play against the Solomon Islands, Tahiti, New Zealand, and Tonga.
The OFC Futsal Women’s Nations Cup tournament will begin on Saturday.
