The Nadi football team secured a 2-1 victory over their neighbour, Lautoka, in the second match of the BOG tournament at HFC Stadium in Suva.
Eneriko Matau scored from a corner kick in the 28th minute, and Apolosi Seru added a second goal in the 88th minute.
Lautoka scored in the 90th minute, but it wasn’t enough to change the outcome.
Despite having more possession and numerous chances in the second half, Lautoka failed to capitalize on them.
