Rewa FC is set to be the team to watch next weekend as they vie for a spot in the semi-finals of the Battle of the Giants tournament.
They secured their place in the semis by defeating football powerhouse Ba 5-0 at the HFC Stadium in Suva, showcasing unity and coordination.
John Orobulu scored two goals in the 12th and 31st minutes, while Samu Kautoga scored his first and second goals. Ba managed to regain control in the second half, but Rewa scored their final goal in the 66th minute.
Epeli Valevou scored the game-winning goal, allowing Ba’s keeper, Atunaisa Naucukidi, to save.
The team then focused on their defense in the last 20 minutes, denying Ba any points until the final whistle.
