Fiji Men’s 7s team will face Ireland in the third quarter finals of the 2024 Paris Olympics Rugby 7s competition at 8 a.m. today.
Fiji’s path to the quarter-finals was paved with victories. They topped their pool, overpowering Uruguay 40-12 in the first match, the USA 38-12, and the host France 19-12 in the final pool match.

Fiji is the only team that has never lost any Olympic rugby 7s match since its inception in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

France started well by scoring an unconverted try in the third minute, but Fiji rallied back and scored a converted try in the dying minutes.
The semi finals will begin at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, and the final will begin at 5:45 a.m. Sunday.
