Fiji’s Men’s 7s team focuses on improving ball handling errors and aerial contesting to maximize their gameplay.

Coach Osea Kolinisau believes that the team has the necessary players to exploit possession and is working on defense to ensure that the players function cohesively.

The team has settled in France in preparation for the Olympics, where they hope to secure their third rugby 7s gold medal.

Fiji has previously won gold twice under Ben Ryan’s leadership, in 2016 and Gareth Baber in 2021.

This year’s competition will be a significant moment for 7s superstar Jerry Tuwai, who will participate in his third Olympic Games and strive for his third gold medal.

Fiji faces tough competition from France, the USA, and Uruguay. The Men’s Olympic 7s competition will take place from the 25th to the 28th.
