Cocagi received a yellow card for a shoulder charge on a Tongan player in a ruck, which was later upgraded to a red card.

Coach Mick Byrne expressed confidence in the team’s potential, stating that the squad has no ceiling.

Fiji, having clinched the top spot in Pool A, will face the USA at 10.05 p.m. on Saturday at the Chichibu Memorial Stadium in Tokyo, Japan.

Japan, the winners of Pool B, will face Samoa in the second semi-final at the same venue the following day.

Tonga and Canada will battle for fifth place at 7 pm this Saturday.
