Inia Tabuavou, a former Natabua High School student, has signed a two-year contract with the Fijian Drua for the 2025 and 2026 Super Rugby Pacific seasons.
Tabuavou, who previously played for Racing 92 and the Flying Fijians, has shown his prowess in the mid-field, earning a call-up for the Flying Fijians earlier this year.
His standout performances as an inside center against Georgia and the All Blacks are a testament to his skill.
Tabuavou, who will join the Fijian Drua pre-season after completing the 2024 Flying Fijians Test calendar, is eager to return home and compete in a new competition after two years in France’s Top 14 competition.
He has played 21 times for Racing 92, scoring 3 tries, and has also played twice for the Flying Fijians. He is looking forward to experiencing the new team environment, their culture, and the style of rugby they play.
