The Europe-based players of the Fiji Water Flying Fijians have joined their camp in Batumi, Georgia, preparing for their upcoming test matches against Georgia and, later, the All Blacks.
The arrival of these players is expected to boost the team’s morale.
The Flying Fijians held their first training session in Batumi, with players such as Viliame Mata, Waisea Nayacalevu, and Jiuta Wainiqolo in attendance.
Under the guidance of coach Mick Byrne, the Flying Fijians are gearing up for their test matches against Georgia and the All Blacks in San Diego, USA.
Coach Byrne has confirmed the inclusion of Europe-based players in the squad, a decision that is expected to strengthen the team.
The Flying Fijians are scheduled to play against Georgia at 4 a.m. on Saturday.
