Suva and Nadi rugby teams are set to face off in the first Skipper Cup semifinal. Suva’s head coach Solo Nute is working on improving their set piece and hopes that his Fiji men’s rugby sevens team players, including halfback Terio Tamani, utility back Sakiusa Siqila, and running centre Tira Wilagi, will be allowed to play in the semifinal.

Nadi, coached by Ilaitia Momo, has returned after losing the Farebrother Trophy to Lautoka. They have strengthened their squad by adding veteran first-five eighth Vatemo Ravouvou and Drua players like Meli Tuni, Tuidraki Samusamuvodre, and Sailosi Vukalokalo.
