The Radradra 7s returns to Taveuni’s sports scene after a five-year hiatus, marking the start of a new era in the sport. The Welagi 7s is a groundbreaking addition to the Taveuni 7s series, aiming to uncover Taveuni’s next sports star.
Tournament Director Lesi Vanuavou is brimming with optimism, believing that there is a wealth of undiscovered talent in Taveuni, and this platform is just the start of a promising journey. Celestino Ravutaumada and Iosefa Masi, set to represent their village teams, are eager to unearth more talent from their province.

The $25,000 prize money will be distributed to the winners, with the Cup Winner receiving $8k, the Under 21 Winner receiving $2,500, the women’s competition receiving $1k, and the Netball and volleyball winners receiving $2000.
The Radradra 7s will be held from the 26th to the 29th, and the Welagi 7s will be held from the 4th to the 6th of next month.
