The Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) has announced a 42-man extended training squad for the senior national team for 2024.
The squad is gearing up for major events, including Fiji’s Tri-Nations tournament in September and the FIFA World Cup 2026—Oceania Qualifiers in October.
Notable players include U19 sensation James Laena, Fiji’s Tailevu FC’s Carlos Liomasia, Henderson Eels forward Junior Anii, and Navua FC’s Jack Wale.
Training for the extended squad will begin on July 23rd at 9:00 AM at the SIFF Headquarters.
Caretaker coach Moses Toata will oversee the sessions until a new national team head coach arrives. Training schedules will run three days a week.
