World Rugby has announced the first five destinations and dates for the HSBC SVNS 2024/2025 Series. The series will begin in Dubai on November 30th and December 1st.
Cape Town 7s on December 7th and 8th, and Perth 7s in January 2025. The Vancouver 7s will be held in February 2025, and the Hong Kong 7s will be held in March.
The remaining events, including the Grand Final, will be confirmed. The 2025 7s Series will feature three new teams: Kenya, Uruguay, and China men’s.
The China women’s team secured promotion from the HSBC Sevens Challenger.
The women’s teams include New Zealand, Australia, France, the USA, Canada, Fiji, Ireland, Great Britain, Japan, Brazil, Spain, and China.
In contrast, the men’s teams include Fiji, Argentina, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, France, South Africa, Great Britain, the USA, Spain, Uruguay, and Kenya.
