A five year old boy who woke up and started following his mother who had left for work has been reunited with his family.
The boy was found walking along Velovelo Road in Lautoka around 6am today.

Police say his guardians thought he had accompanied his mother and it was a case of miscommunication.
He was found by a man who brought him to the Lautoka Police Station where a police officer recognized the child and took him back to his guardians.
Police have counselled the guardians and the child’s mother.
