Updated: 6:50am – The bottom flat of a housing block at the Ba Police Barracks in Varadoli was destroyed in a fire which started after 12pm yesterday.
According to the National Fire Authority, the top flat was partially damaged while two other flats were saved.

A team from the Ba Fire Station arrived at the scene at 12.52pm yesterday and saw two flats on fire and were able to extinguish the fire before it spread to nearby flats.
A four bedroom house was also destroyed in a fire at Nadelei Village in Tavua yesterday while another house was destroyed in a fire in Nabekavu in Labasa.
