Water Authority of Fiji CEO Barry Omundson says they are committed to providing and improving water services and accessibility to Fijians.
Omundson began inspecting WAF sites in the Western Division yesterday.
He was briefed by WAF’s Regional Manager Western, Romuluse Mataitoga on the status of water supply and wastewater services to Fijians in the western division.
Omundson visited the Olosara wastewater treatment plant, Sigatoka customer service centre, WAF Sigatoka Depot, Matovo water treatment plant, the Keiyasi water treatment plant as well as the new Nawaicoba reservoir site.
Omundson says he needs to understand the needs on the ground as this will greatly assist him in decision making.
He will be visiting the other treatment plants and major project sites in the Western and Northern divisions in the coming weeks.
