The lady is expected to show up in the Nelson District Court on February 15.

Police couldn’t remark further as the issue was under the steady gaze of the courts, the representative said.

Multisport competitor Richard Ussher, who was Martin’s previous colleague, prior said Martin was an “excellent ability” in the kayaking local area and an “stunning specialist”.

The Flow Kayaks site said Martin had rowed for his entire life, contending in essentially every serious kayaking discipline and addressing New Zealand in slalom, wild water dashing and long distance race kayaking.

He had been a public victor in wild water, long distance race and surf lifesaving occasions and was a triallist for the New Zealand Olympic level water group in 1984 and 1988.

Martin’s best worldwide exhibitions saw him finish in the main 10 at the Wildwater World champs twice and, alongside Phil Dooney and Aaron Cox, he won the Wildwater group occasion at the world champs in 1995.
