An Auckland woman’s discovery of fly eggs in her KFC meal has left her feeling “sick to the stomach”.

Taryn Cumming​ said she found a cluster of eggs on a Wicked Wing on Monday evening, after she had just eaten four bits of an eight-pack.

Devilish Wings are a well known KFC item made of chicken with a hot marinade and a firm covering.

“I was simply appalled,” the New Lynn mum said. “I was wiped out to my stomach, at that point I was stressing on the grounds that I’m breastfeeding my infant as well.”
