UPDATED: 9:14am – A 68-year-old man who was arrested and charged with alleged indecent assault by police has been remanded.
Apisai Bavadra was refused bail as he currently has has fifty-nine previous convictions.

Bavadra is alleged to have touched the thigh of a 15-year-old schoolgirl who was sitting at the Suva bus-stand on Monday afternoon.
The student was waiting for her sister when the man who was sitting on the same seat moved closer to her.
It’s alleged the man asked the girl if she wanted to sleep with him and that he was willing to take her to his home.
The student reported the matter to the Central Police Station on the same day. The case will be recalled on Monday.
