Update: 7:56am – The National Party has produced more than 15,000 election signs with many working through in the rainy weather to get them up and in front of potential voters.

National’s election campaign chairman Steven Joyce said that’s more signs than they have ever produced before.

Other political parties have also been putting up election signs around the country.

The Electoral Act allows election signs up to three-square-metres in size to be put up from July 22 until the evening before the September 23 general election.
