The Vodafone Fiji 7s team will head into Singapore, knowing their biggest threat is themselves.
After a successful Hong Kong 7s, coach Gareth Baber was happy with the players discipline and aggressive defence throughout the tournament.
He says that he will continue to build on the current squad and make use of the young talents in the team.
Making their debut in Hong Kong, Kalione Nasoko and Mesulame Kunavula showed great composure when under pressure.
Fiji now sits in second place in the World Sevens Series with 122 points, South Africa maintains their lead with 145 points while England are currently in third place with 113 points.
Fiji will play Hong Kong in their first pool match at 4.52pm Saturday, their second game is against Russia at 7.50pm and their final pool match is against Canada at 12.06am Sunday.
The quarters will kick off at 4.30pm Sunday, the semis will start at 9.10pm while the Gold Medal Final will kick off at 12.20am Monday.
