Coach Christophe Gamel with other officials and the extended squad took the blessings of the nation’s head before the important match.
Gamel will name his extended squad next Wednesday as the Rewa players join camp on Monday.
Fiji takes on New Zealand at Lautoka’s Churchill Park next Saturday.
