French Ambassador to Fiji, Jean-Francois Fitou has commended Fiji’s reaction to fight COVID-19.

Fitou says Fiji has taken the correct measures at the ideal time and has additionally lauded Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama.

He says that the Fijians are very much ensured including that different nations like France are less lucky.

The Ambassador says it is a benefit for individuals living in Fiji.

In the meantime, France has suspended visa applications to France and other French Territories until further notification.
