A 43-year-old man was rushed to the CWM hospital with serious injuries last night after the motorbike he was driving hit an oncoming private vehicle along Laucala Bay Road.
The accident occurred at the traffic lights junction of Grantham Road and Laucala Bay Road.

It is alleged the driver of the private vehicle was driving along Laucala Bay Road made a right turn at the said junction when it was on a red light and in the process bumped the victim who was on his way to the stadium.
The victim is currently admitted in hospital while the suspect is in police custody.
An investigation continues.
