There will be no abroad group taking an interest in the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s competition and it will go on as planned.
This has been affirmed by Marist rugby club President Lawrence Tikaram.

Tikarama says the competition will include just nearby groups.
“Just to dispel any confusion air there are no abroad groups coming in the midst of certain theories that they were. We had an abroad administrator that should show up however he isn’t coming at this point. Yet, all groups are privately based, grassroots Fiji rugby players that gladly bolster Fiji rugby.”
The Fiji Marist 7s competition will commence tomorrow with the young division at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
