FIJI NEWS: The Ministry of iTaukei Affairs has given sixty-six yachts permits to enter Fiji

This was affirmed by the Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama during a Talk Show – “Na Noda Paraiminisita” on Radio Fiji One after some sea networks restricted these yachts from entering their fishing grounds.
Bainimarama says the sum total of what conventions have been followed before yachts sail our waters.
“Before the grant is given by the Ministry of iTaukei Affairs, the Customs and the Ministry of Health takes a shot at the freedom and the alright of these yachts. So once they are given the license, they will at that point have the option to cruise over our waters, and our fishing ground and nobody can stop them.”
Bainimarama says yachts are possibly permitted to enter provincial networks on the off chance that they are given the grant from the iTaukei Affairs Ministry.
“For individuals living in the country and sea networks, I need to affirm that all yachts seen around your waters have their grants and they have all experienced the important COVID-19 check conventions.”
