FIJI NEWS: The United States has donated over $175,000 worth of locally-sourced COVID-19 relief supplies to Fiji.

The gift incorporates more than 1,400 liters of hand sanitizer, 1,000 boxes of purifying wipes, 9,000 face covers, 500 careful outfits, and 50,000 sets of latex gloves, 3 tents, 90 lawn seats, 20 collapsing tables, iPads and generators.

US minister to Fiji, Joseph Cella says it is a delight to have the option to help Fijians in their battle against COVID-19.

Cella says these provisions will help the Ministry of Health and the restrained powers with overseeing contact following and setting up fever facilities and forward working bases.

He includes all things were bought locally to amplify the monetary advantage to Fijian organizations.
