Inder Kumar Dated A Top Bollywood Heroine & Faced Rape Charges, Before Dying A Silent Death | NZ FIJI TIMES

UPDATED: 10:02am – Bollywood went in for a shock as it wake up to the sad news of actor Inder Kumar’s sudden demise. He was just 44. The actor suffered a heart attack at his Andheri residence in Mumbai at around 2 am on Monday, July 28. His wife Pallavi said that doctors confirmed that he died because of cardiac arrest.
Besides his work, Inder Kumar came in news in 2014 when a 23-year-old model accused Inder of raping her. She not only confirmed the rape charges, but was allegedly held captive and subjected to brutality. Police confirmed that there were signs of cigarette burn marks on the victim’s shoulders and neck, bite marks on her arms and marks of her being stabbed with a fork.
Reportedly, Inder slipped into severe depression after the incident denying all such allegations. Since then, his mental health was not stable.
Inder’s love life was also rocky as he faced three failed relationships. The actor had a failed relationship with actress Ishaa Koppikar.
They both broke up after being together for almost 12 years. Inder then married Kamaljeet Kaur but they also got separated in 2 months.
Inder was also married to Sonal Kariya, daughter of film publicist Rajoo Kariya, in 2003, for a brief period.
Inder’s failed relationships led him to the dark world of drugs and apparently he was addicted to the abuse, till date.
Inder worked in over 20 films including Salman Khan-starrers Wanted, Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge. He was known to be quite close to Salman Khan’s family since the two actors worked together on several film projects.
Inder is also remembered for his brief stint as Mihir in the popular TV show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. The actor was currently busy shooting for his upcoming movie Phati Padi Hai Yaar.
