UPDATED: 6:00am – The Lautoka soccer team will win the Vodafone Premier League this weekend if the Blues win their two matches and Ba drops points against Suva.
Lautoka will host Dreketi at 7.30pm this Friday and face Labasa at 3pm this Sunday at Churchill Park.
Lautoka currently leads the points table with 25 points and wins against Dreketi and Labasa will see Lautoka having 31 points on Sunday afternoon.
Fourth placed, Ba which has 16 points and five matches remaining can also finish the competition with 31 points if they win all their matches.
However, Ba’s chances of retaining their league title will come to an end if they draw or lose against Suva this Saturday at Govind Park and if Lautoka secures maximum points in both their matches this weekend.
In other matches this week, Nadi will host Labasa at 7pm this Friday while Rewa will face Rakiraki at 3pm Sunday.
