Uplifting news for individuals in Tavua and Rakiraki as they presently don’t need to head out to Lautoka to get their leases restored or apply for another rent as the Ministry of Lands has opened their new office in Rakiraki.

Clergyman for Lands and Mineral Resources, Jone Usamate says the workplace in Rakiraki will deal with 3,240 rent documents.

He adds they are wanting to open an office in Nadi or Sigatoka to fulfill the developing need.

Group Leader Rakiraki, Bulou Miriama Maka says they are offering support to 10 to 15 individuals each day.
