The new SODELPA Leadership accepts the path forward for the gathering is to zero in on issues instead of constantly talk about the disunity among the individuals.

Viliame Gavoka says there is no denying the way that solidarity has consistently been an issue among SODELPA individuals, yet Saturday’s Annual General Meeting allowed everybody to introduce their complaints transparently.

Gavoka says there were warmed trades between the individuals as they attempted to make their complaints known during the AGM.

“The General Secretary and the President opened up the floor to any individual who needed to communicate their perspectives and the gloves were off at a specific phase of the gathering, the gloves were off. In any case, towards its finish, we concurred that we are in this together, we need to win in 2022 and solidarity is the message that we as a whole are reclaiming to any place we come from.”

Gavoka adds pushing ahead, the Party will zero in on three issues to bring solidarity among individuals.

“Number one is the financial improvement of the iTaukei – under that umbrella, everybody will profit, GDP will develop, and everybody will profit, each network in Fiji. Number two – free training until tertiary level everyone in this nation and number three is an upgraded improved wellbeing framework. Those three principle issues will be the main thrust for SODELPA in the following couple of months. So we center around those issues the factionalism will end.”

He accepts these issues will have the option to draw in more gathering allies ahead of the pack up to the following Election.
