New Zealand world champion sprint cycling team have claimed gold at the track world cup in Los Angeles.
Sam Webster, Ethan Mitchell and Eddie Dawkins have powered home in 43.71 seconds to beat their German opponents by nearly three tenths of a second in the final.

It’s the first gold medal of what has been a big haul for New Zealand.
Earlier, Racquel Sheath and Michaela Drummond teamed up to win silver in the madison,while Jaime Nielsen won bronze in the individual pursuit
It takes the overall tally to eight.
