Police charge woman who drove through Nadi restaurant | NZ FIJI TIMES

UPDATED: 6:00am – A woman who was driving the vehicle that slammed into the Chicken Express restaurant in Namaka, Nadi, on Sunday has been charged by the Police.

She is charged with one count of careless driving. According to Police, the driver also had a child in the car at the time of the accident.

The woman was driving out of Deo St and allegedly bumped another vehicle heading to Nadi. This led to the woman driver losing control of the vehicle, veering off the road and slamming into the restaurant.

Police confirmed some staff members and customers at the restaurant suffered injuries, while the two vehicles suffered damages.
