The Ministry of Health has announced two new border cases of COVID19.

They are a 49-year-old and a 58-year-old female who showed up on flight NZ952 from New Zealand on December 24th.

The two people tried positive during routine leave testing while at the same time going through required isolate in the public authority assigned boundary isolate offices in Nadi

The people were securely and cleanly moved to the confinement ward at the Lautoka medical clinic

The forefront boundary and isolate staff who were straightforwardly engaged with the cases have adhered to the standard contamination avoidance and control conventions and will be checked and tried as vital.

Fiji has had 55 cases altogether since the main case was recognized on March nineteenth, with the last 34 cases identified in boundary isolate.
