New Zealand and Scotland were level at 3-all at halftime in a tense and error-riddled first stanza.

The All Blacks found their groove early in the second spell as Codie Taylor and Damian McKenzie crossed for tries, before Beauden Barrett scored what turned out to be the game-winning try.

Discipline was once again an issue for the All Blacks, as Sam Cane and Wyatt Crockett were yellow carded in the final 20 minutes.

In earlier internationals, England scored 17 points in the final 10 minutes, to beat Australia 30-6 at Twickenham.

Argentina beat Italy 31-15, Wales’ second string side edged Georgia 13-6 and Japan trounced Tonga 39-6.
