Viliame Gavoka asked Seruiratu to explain the processes as to how they made this decision two weeks ago

Priest for Disaster Management, Inia Seruiratu has today apologized in parliament for the bother that was caused to individuals because of the choice made on new cross country time limitation hours by the NDMO on the 29th of a month ago.

This is after SODELPA Leader, Viliame Gavoka requested that Seruiratu disclose the cycles with regards to how they settled on this choice fourteen days back when Cyclone Ana was over the country.

Seruiratu says the choice was made dependent on the intial appraisal on when Cyclone Ana planned to make landfall in Viti Levu.

He says they assume full liability for the choice that was settled on anyway the choice on controlling development is made in light of a legitimate concern for the wellbeing of individuals.

He says the choice to change the twister track is from God and they don’t have authority over it.
