The Fiji National Provident Fund will carry out COVID-19 alleviation help for its deliberate individuals from the twelfth of one month from now.

Acting Chief Executive, Viliame Vodonaivalu says deliberate individuals can apply for at least $100 to a limit of $1,100, from their General Account.

Vodonaivalu says the individuals need to have at least $135 in their General Account.

“While we have been giving alleviation to individuals whose work have been influenced, there’s a gathering of individuals who have been quietly pausing. These are our willful individuals. We will carry out the COVID-19 alleviation for our Voluntary individuals from April twelfth, 2021.”

Vodonaivalu says given the low number of uses being gotten for stage 4 of COVID-19 help, the Fund will now close the Phase on the 31st of this current month.

Stage 4 was for those individuals who have been jobless from January 2010 to September 2019 are as yet jobless.

Vodonaivalu says they opened Phase 4 in August 2020 and in excess of 11,000 individuals have since applied which is underneath the assessed number of individuals that certified for this Phase.
