Previous Brazilian footballer Ronaldinho and his sibling showed up in court on Saturday over claims the pair utilized phony international IDs to enter Paraguay.
Investigators state the siblings were given bogus records when they arrived in the capital Asuncion on Wednesday.
The pair were arrested on Friday, only hours after an appointed authority would not maintain an examiner’s proposition for an elective discipline.
The investigator contended the siblings had been deceived. They deny any bad behavior.

The pair, who were addressed by police, said they thought the travel papers were an obligingness motion. Officials later looked through their lodging.
At the court in Asuncion on Saturday, an appointed authority requested that Ronaldinho and his sibling, Roberto Assis, be put in pre-preliminary detainment.
In July 2019, the player purportedly had his Brazilian and Spanish travel papers seized over unpaid expenses and non-installment of fines for illicitly expanding on a nature hold in Brazil.
