Update: 9:02am – It seems Sabbir Khan is on a roll. The year has him working with two iconic characters. News is that the director whose latest film has him directing Tiger Shroff for Munna Michael, the character is based on king of pop Michael Jackson, if all goes well will be directing the popular character Chulbul Pandey.
As per news sources, Sabbir might helm Salman Khan starrer Dabangg 3.
Shedding more light on the development, Sabbir has been quoted by a publication saying,
“Yes, I’ve started working on a plan for Dabangg 3 but I can’t say anything until the paperwork is finalised.
I am in talks and am really happy that I was one of directors selected to work on the final script.
I plan to catch up on my reading.
Travelling makes me write better. I’m hoping to return with an entertaining plot for Chulbul Five years after the second installment of Dabangg released, Dabangg 3 has been locked to roll by 2018-end.
The first film, which opened in 2010, was directed by Abhinav Kashyap and bagged the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.
Two years later Arbaaz Khan took over direction.
Later on he announced that he will only be producing Dabangg 3 and have been on a hunt for a director until they came across Sabbir.
