Updated: 8:35am – The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team has continued their focus on their strengths ahead of the Singapore 7s.

Coach Gareth Baber says they are in a good position to produce some good results this weekend.

Meanwhile utility back Eroni Sau and Amenoni Nasilasila are the players to look out for as they are sitting in the top 10 of the DHL Impact Player of each tournament.

Sau who has earned himself the name “Sledge Hammer” was the DHL Impact Player of the Tournament in Hong Kong while Nasilasila won the award in Cape Town.

Sau is currently in second place in the overall DHL Performance Tracker with 265 points behind Canada’s Justin Douglas who is leading with 282 points.

He has a total of 104 tackles, 44 line breaks, 20 offloads and 97 carries while Nasilasila is currently in sixth place with 248 points.

The Fiji Airways Men’s 7s team will take on Japan at 5.36pm today.

They will then play Russia at 9.02pm today before playing their final pool match against Spain at 12.28am Sunday.

The Cup quarter finals will begin at 4.30pm Sunday, the semi finals will begin at 8.50pm Sunday while the Cup Final is at 12am Monday.
