Fiji: Fiji 7s to improve on discipline: Baber

The Fiji 7s team has to improve discipline and tackling to stand any chance of winning its first title in Vancouver this weekend.

Coach Gareth Baber says despite unfavourable weather in Canada the team has worked on certain areas over the past week.

“I think the obvious issues are discipline and tackle completion we obviously are trying to improve both these elements and this are the mental element to that which is very obvious and making sure we take control on the field”

The Vancouver 7s kick off this Sunday.

Fiji’s first match is against Wales at 6.36am on Sunday after which we play Samoa at 10.12am.

The team’s last match is against Argentina at 1.52pm.

The Cup quarter-finals begin 6.08am on Monday, the Cup semi-finals starts at 10.08am while the Cup final kicks off at 1.19pm.
