The government yesterday received additional funding of over a million dollars from the Japanese government under its Grant Aid Programme.
During the exchange of Notes signing with the Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama, Japan’s ambassador to Fiji Takuji Hanatani said the Japanese government is pleased to support Fiji’s efforts to rise again from the devastation of Cyclone Winston.

The government of Japan has so far contributed about 11 million dollars towards Post TC Winston’s rehabilitation work.
