FIJI NEWS: The tree planting activity started at 6 am today

250 enlisted people from the Fiji Police Force taking an interest in a tree-planting activity are relied upon to plant 800 trees in the Province of Rewa today.

The Ministry of Forestry says the enlisted people will plant 100 trees in eight towns including Nadoria, Nakorovou, Vunisinu, Nabuli, Suvalailai, Naivikasara, Waivou and Burebasaga.

The enlisted people will be separated into eight gatherings.

The tree planting movement began at 6 am today and will run for the duration of the day.

The trees planted during this planting movement is associated with the administration’s “30 Million Trees in 15 Years” activity.
