A 24-year-old woman passed away earlier today after she was allegedly stabbed several times by her defacto partner at Nasilivata Street in Nadera.
Fijivillage has received information that a man in his 60’s who used to run a security recruitment agency, is currently in custody.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro says the woman who was allegedly stabbed several times by the man, was rushed to the hospital however she was pronounced dead on arrival.
The man is currently being questioned at Valelevu Police Station.
Concerns are also being raised that some people took videos of the gruesome attack however they did not take any immediate action to assist the woman.
The videos are being circulated on social media.
