Update: 8:13 am – The pleas of a married lady suffering torture at the hands of her husband for several years went completely unheard by the police officials of the State of Bihar. Unable to tolerate her condition any further, she finally decided to file a libel case against her husband in the courts.
It was only after a court order did the officials take an action against her husband and his many friends who constantly raped the woman within her own house. The accused Bharat Singh has now been taken under police custody, while the search to find the remainder culprits is under process.
A woman residing in Bihar stated how she and Bharat Singh were employed in the same organization and fell in love. All seemed well until the duo decided to get married.
Post marriage, Bharat Singh’s behaviour changed and he turned violent towards his wife. Eventually, he began to invite his friends over and began to touch her inappropriately in their presence.
Tired of his wife’s resistance, her husband convinced his friends to rape her. This continued for several months until one day she decided to file a police complaint.
Police officials however failed to come to her rescue. It was then that she decided to file a case of libel against her husband and his friends and a thorough investigation was ordered by the courts thereafter.
The accused Bharat Singh has now been taken under police custody while the search to find the remainder culprits is under process.
